2004-2005

* Week of Entrpreneurship

AVEDA:

* English corner

Introduction:
“English Corner” is a place for people who want to practice their speaking. As long as they come to English corner, they can have conversation with others in English.

Why ASES-Taiwan?
ASES is an organization to promote Entrepreneurship and people networking. For ASES-Taiwan, Entrepreneurship is not only to start up a company but also to solve the problem and insist on it. We find that the students in NTU lack an environment to practice their English speaking, so we created it!
We hope we can help others to improve and influence them.

Time: Mon Tue Fri 12:00-13:00
Place: Common classroom plaza 共同教室前廣場
Fee: Free!!
How to join: Don't worry about the accent or grammar, don't have to think of the fee either! All you have to do is to come and speak!

* Real case

Introduction: Despite the means of case study, we want our members to learn by doing, not just learn from other companies’ experience. A business plan competition might be great to innovate, but it’s too far from the reality for students. But for real case, each group has to think of an explicit and feasible plan to help the company/firm solve their problem. Participants may encounter similar problem when they have their own start-up, and this is the best chance for them to practice. Also, each group will get feedback from the firm to see if their plan is feasible or not.

Schedule: The firm for this semester is a kindergarten!
4/28 background understanding
5/5 industry survey
5/12 Think of the basic solution
5/19 industry survey
5/26 Think of the final solution
6/2 Real Case Presentation
