Time Table:

The IDEA project consists of different activities. The types and contents of them are varied and wide-ranging, while revolving around the program¡¦s main themes: mutual understanding of cultures and the introduction of Taiwanese and Chinese culture.

Campus Tour
It¡¦s our pleasure to invite you to discover our campus. NTU is the most historical and prestigious university in Taiwan. Its predecessor, Taipei Imperial University, was founded in 1928 by Japanese. With the end of World War ¢º, Taiwan government renamed it ¡§National Taiwan University.¡¨ NTU is more than a university; it has witnessed the evolution of Taiwan history, which also left NTU some treasurable heritages. Thus, NTU has now become a living history book of Taiwan and a favorite tourist attraction. Through this campus tour, you will learn more of the past and the development of Taiwan and the university per se.

Panel Discussion
The core value of IDEA lies in exchange of different cultures. In the panel discussion, we will take this to a further step. Delegates, through serious discussion and fun games, will learn culturally, economically or academically of Taiwan, other countries or even their own. Topic ranges from music, entertainment, lifestyle, to culture, academia, or economy.

Institution (Company) Visiting
Taiwan has played an important role in the world. Small as Taiwan is, we have many world famous companies and institutions, such as TSMC, ASUS, and ACER in the industry of electronics, and a Cloud Gate Dance Theatre in performing art. Cloud Gate Dance Theatre was highly praised by the Times, London to be the Asia¡¦s leading contemporary dance theatre. We will have a good chance to visit one of the famous companies or institutions, and find out the secrets of their success.

MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Tour in Taipei
MRT has taken pride of Taipei City. It is fast, convenient, bright, and comfortable. People hop in the MRT wherever they want to go. During the tour, you will be able to plan out your trips, sampling the unique hustle and bustle of Taipei City, and explore more of Taipei. Taiwan is especially famous for its vigorous night life and finger licking snacks, DinTaiFung dumplings, bubble tea, smelly but delicious stinky Tofu, to name but a few, what you definitely do not want to miss. MRT tour can give you all.
Traditional Sport Show
Each country has its own traditional sports. Japan has sumo; Taiwan shuttlecock; England cricket and so forth. ?Blessedly we have delegates of over 15 universities from more eight countries. At the Traditional Sports Show, we would like the delegates to share with others the traditional sports of their home countries, at the same, to learn of others¡¦ and to have some fun playing together.

Night Activies
As experiencing ¡§cultures¡¨ in the daytime, the nights would be as edutaining and more relaxing, without fail. For we prepare different activities of various themes where delegates will perform, watch, and have fun. For instance, at the Talent Show, delegates will have a chance to showcase themselves and may see different sides of others. An otherwise gentle might turn into a wild Salsa dancer!

Tour outside Taipei
Taiwan - An Ideal Travel Destination, also known as ¡§Formosa¡¨, means ¡§beautiful island.¡¨ It lies off the southeastern coast of the mainland Asia and is a solitary island on the western edge of the Pacific Ocean. The continuous tectonic movements have created majestic peaks, rolling hills and plains, basins, coastlines, and other wonders. We have climates of many types in Taiwan: tropical, sub-tropical, and temperate, providing clear differentiation between the different seasons.
There are so much to see on this island - Cultural and Nature. Looking for an awesome journey? You cannot miss this!
